Wellsville man to spend five years in prison for Angelica break-in

A Wellsville man will spend five years in state prison for breaking into a West Main Street home in Angelica in April. That sentence was handed down today for 35-year-old Cory Eck. Prosecutors said that Eck, along with two others, illegally entered the dwelling and stole property while the homeowner was inside. In a deal, Eck pleaded guilty to attempted burglary; Judge Thomas Brown also sentenced Eck to serve five years post-release supervision and also saddled him with the following costs-$400 in restitution, a $325 court surcharge and a $50 DNA fee. Eck was represented by attorney Tim Ross. The case was prosecuted by ADA J. Thomas Fuoco.
