Obituary: Francis L. Dimpfl Jr., 44, of Bolivar

BOLIVAR — Francis L. Dimpfl Jr., 44, of 60 Wellsville St., passed away Saturday (Oct. 20, 2018) in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, following a lengthy illness. Born on Jan. 30, 1974, in Olean, he was the son of Francis L. and Julia Lovell Dimpfl Sr. He was a former employee of the Giant Food Mart and Kmart Store in Wellsville. He enjoyed aquaponics, hunting and gardening. Surviving are three children, Dylan Dimpfl of Bolivar, Leann Dimpfl of Richburg and Makenna Dimpfl of Bolivar; parents, Francis and Julia Dimpfl of Bolivar; two sisters, Gladys Dimpfl of Bolivar and Rose (Richard Holmes) Carpenter of Bolivar; three brothers, Ken (Tina Adams) Morris of Salamanca, Greg (Jamie) Dimpfl of Jamestown and Paul Dimpfl of Wellsville; several nieces and nephews; three lifelong friends, Brenda Langworthy, Christy Bulkley and Rodney Kelsey. There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc., Bolivar.
