Allegany County Sheriff's Blotter

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Village of Wellsville Police Department with the arrest of Cody A. Reeves of Lansing, NY on a Bench Warrant issued by the Village of Wellsville Court.  Reeves was located by Deputies in Amity, then processed and turned over to the Village of Wellsville Police Department.

On October 16, 2018, with assistance of the Hornell Police Department Deputies arrested Paul L. Bastian, age 30 of Hornell on a Probation Warrant issued by the Town of Scio Court.  Bastian was located by the Hornell Police Department and turned over to Deputies. Bastian was then processed and transported to Allegany County Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail without bail. Bastian is due to reappear in the Town of Scio Court for additional court action.

On October 16, 2018, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Jennifer L. Fugatt, age 35 of Whitesville on a Bench Warrant issued by the Town of Scio Court.  Fugatt was processed and transported to Allegany County Court where she was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $200.00 cash and is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Scio Court for additional court action.

On October 15, 2018, following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Ashley M. Coen, age 31 of Angelica, charging her with the following:- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree- Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument- Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child
Coen was located at her residence, processed, and transported to the Town of Friendship Court where she was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $5,000.00 cash or $10,000.00 bond.  Coen is to reappear in the Village of Angelica Court for additional court action.
