Rescuers respond after vehicle is submerged in water in Genesee, PA

Friday evening at approximately 9 p.m. the Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps Rescue Squad was dispatched to the Genesee Mills Mills Road in Bingham Township to assist Genesee Fire & EMS with a vehicle submerged in water. Wellsville Rescue 1 under the command of 2nd Assistant Rescue Chief Michael Lutz  with a crew of five, responded to the incident with multiple Water Rescue Technicians on board. Responding units arrived minutes after Genesee Command and determined that all patients were self extricated and not in danger. On the orders of Genesee Command all WVAC Rescue units were released shortly after arrival and returned to service shortly before 10 p.m.
