Wellsville Police on Sunday arrested Sidney D. Allen, age 25
of Wellsville, charging him with two counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals
(Class E Felony) and two counts of Overdriving, Torturing and Injuring Animals;
Failure to provide sustenance. The
charges stem from an incident that took place on Crowner Avenue in the
Village. Allen was processed and
arraigned before Associate Wellsville Village Justice Walsh. Allen was released and is due back in
Wellsville Village Court on June 19th at 4:30 p.m. Wellsville Police were
assisted by the Allegany County SPCA.
