Wellsville Police arrested Lauri J. Sawyer, age 60 of
Deland, FL, charging her with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more and Fail to use
designated lane. The charges stem from a
traffic stop on South Main Street in the Village of Wellsville. Police also arrested the passenger of the
vehicle, Delano R. Sawyer, age 62 of Deland, FL, charging him with Unlawful
Possession of Marijuana. Both parties
were issued an appearance ticket and released to a third party. Laurie Sawyer is due to appear in Wellsville
Village Court on April 24th at 4:30 p.m.
Wellsville Police arrested James E. Franklin Jr., age 24 of
Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or
Circulation. The charge stems from an
incident that took place on Howard Street in the Village of Wellsville. Franklin was processed and arraigned before
Wellsville Village Justice O’Connor.
Franklin was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on
April 17th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Amanda L. Geer, age 26 of
Wellsville, charging her with Grand Larceny 3rd (Class D Felony). The charge stems from an incident that took
place at Kmart in Wellsville. Geer was
processed and arraigned before Associate Wellsville Village Justice Walsh. Geer was released and is due back in
Wellsville Village Court on April 17th at 4:30 p.m.
