Shirley J. Mattison, 90, of Wellsville, NY, died Monday,
April 23, 2018 in her home. Born October
9, 1927, in Dunkirk, NY, she was the daughter of Bertha (Kenneth Johnson) and
Douglas Sandberg. On June 21, 1947, in
Alma, she married Wesley W. “Bill” Mattison, who predeceased her on February 6,
2017. Shirley loved her family, her
front porch, Bingo, Yankees, and Buffalo Bills.
Surviving are: Kathleen Kelleher,
William (Sandi) Mattison, Rebecca (Warren) Budd, Beverly (Ron) Nye, Steven
(Louise) Mattison, Mark (Joanne Fenske) Mattison, and Sherri (Mike) Harrison;
19 grandchildren, Shane Kelleher, Brent Roberts, Rene (Leah) Kelleher, Kari
(Shawn) Scotland, Darci (Shawn) Rose, Matthew (Katie) Mattison, Fred (Bridget)
Roberts, Ryan (Joanne) Stisser, Mindy (Scott) Cross, Mark Mattison, Wesley
Mattison, Jake Mattison, Nathan Mattison, Jared (Katie) Mattison, Nikkie
(David) Green, Chase (Liz Pellett) Mattison, Tiffany (Seth) Coombes, Allie
Mattison, and Laura Mattison; 21 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren;
former daughter-in-law and caregiver, Stacy Mattison; and many nieces and
nephews. Friends may call Thursday,
April 26, 2018 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home,
Wellsville, NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor John Schink will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery,
