Wellsville Police arrested Ashley K. Plants, age 22 of
Shinglehouse, PA, charging her with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd
(Class B Felony) Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B
Felony) and Conspiracy 4th (Class E Felony). The charges stem from an investigation
conducted by the Wellsville Police Department, Southern Tier Regional Drug Task
Force and New York State Police C-NET into the illegal sale of heroin in the
Village of Wellsville. Plants was
extradited from Pennsylvania, processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village
Judge O’Connor. Plants was committed to
the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail or $20,000.00 property
bond. Plants is due back in Wellsville
Village Court on March 20th at 4:30 p.m.
