We are writing this letter in support of Merle “Mike”
Dibble. Mike is running for re-election in the Village of Andover for a 4 year
Trustee position. As Mike is a “behind the scenes” kind of guy, we want to
share a few of Mike’s contributions and accomplishment in his short time on the
board. His knowledge and network of contacts has saved the Village
thousands of dollars. This includes but is not limited to new laptops and a
pick-up truck when it was desperately needed. He has use of a facility to
repair and service equipment at no cost to the Village. There have been two significant storms this winter, one in
January and the other just a week ago. Even though Mike works on average 65
hours a week he was out plowing our streets, cutting trees and checking on the
welfare of the village crew.He has spent personal money on tools and a time clock for
the village employees. Mike has also obtained maps and drawings to be included
in our water and sewer grant proposals. He also saw the need and took the lead
in an ongoing effort to review and update village board and personnel policies.Mike can come across as loud and aggressive, but this comes
from a place of passion and desire to make his hometown…our hometown a place to
be safe and proud of. We encourage village resident to vote for Mike Dibble and
Robert Joyce, Republican Candidates for Village Trustee. Tuesday March 20th, polls are open 12 pm to 9 p.m. We also encourage everyone to attend the
monthly meetings.
