...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO 7 PM EST
SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Plan on slippery road
conditions at times. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches
and ice accumulations of a few hundredths of an inch are
expected.
* WHERE...The western Southern Tier.
* WHEN...9 AM to 7 PM Saturday. Rain will change to a brief
period of freezing rain from late morning through early
afternoon Saturday, then change quickly to snow.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of freezing rain and snow
will result in very slippery travel at times.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will result in slippery
roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while
driving.
