In order to create more parking places, the Board of
Directors of the Hart Comfort House purchased the former Regan House that sits
directly in back of Hart House (East State and Scott Ave in Wellsville). This residence
will be dismantled and the property will become a parking lot.
We are still looking for people or organizations to help us
with this project. So far, we have
successfully repurposed the windows, doors, some hardwood flooring, and vinyl
siding. We still have lath (makes great
kindling for fires on these cold mornings), 2x4’s, 2 x 6’s, planking, hardwood
floors, etc. If you are interested in any of these
materials and would consider a donation of time, please call Scott Swift,
