State Police make four arrests after conducting an underage drinking detail in Catt. Co.

PRESS RELEASE
 On November 22, 2017, the New York State Police in Zone 4 and the New York State Liquor Authority conducted an underage drinking enforcement detail at 11 establishments that resulted in four arrests.  The following people were arrested under the New York Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, Section 65 – Prohibited sale to a person under the age of 21:  

  • A 17-year-old employee at Rich’s Full Service Inc in Franklinville was issued an appearance ticket for Franklinville Town Court returnable at a later date.
  • Joan King, 67, of Delevan, an employee of King’s Inn in Machias was issued an appearance ticket for Machias Town Court returnable at a later date.
  • Susan Roll, 62, of Franklinville, an employee of Fats Corp-Lake House in Machias was issued an appearance ticket for Machias Town Court returnable at a later date.
  • Marissa Moquin, 21, of Silver Creek, an employee of Freedom One Stop in Freedom was issued an appearance for Freedom Town Court returnable at a later date.
The following establishments were checked and found to be in compliance:
  • Legends Bar and Grille, 5 Park Square, Franklinville, NY
  • Franklinville Fresh Market, 17 South Main St, Franklinville, NY
  • Lime Lake Country Store, 9971 State Route 16, Machias, NY
  • The Yellow Goose Market, 7 North Main St, Delevan, NY
  • 7-Eleven, 12223 Old Olean Rd, Yorkshire, NY
  • Weber City Deli, State Route 16 and 39, Yorkshire, NY
  • Yorkshire Spirits, 12243 State Route 16, Yorkshire, NY
