Livingston County District Attorney Report - Nov. 14, 2017

After presentation by Justin M. Hill, Assistant District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Robert B. Wiggins on November  14, 2017.
ANGELA D. DIXON, age 42, of Canisteo was sentenced on a conviction of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Misdemeanor) to 8 months incarceration. She was also ordered to pay a $200 surcharge, a $50 DNA fee, and her license was suspended.
ZACHARY J. FOLTS, age 34, of Wayland appeared on a violation of probation and the matter was adjourned to December 5, 2017.  He was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
A YOUTHFUL OFFENDER admitted a violation of probation and the matter was adjourned to January 9, 2018 for sentencing.   He was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
SUSAN E. KING, age 43, of Dansville was charged with Criminal Possession Controlled Substance Fifth Degree (D Felony) and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (D Felony). She was arraigned with her attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to  January 9, 2018.
JADE L. LAFORCE, age 24, of Canaseraga was sentenced on a conviction of Criminal Possession of a Controlled  Substance  in the Seventh Degree (Misdemeanor) to 3 years probation.  She was also ordered to pay a $200 surcharge, a $50 DNA fee, and her license was suspended.
JUSTIN D. MERKEL, age 32, of Geneseo was charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (E Felony). He was arraigned with his attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to January 9, 2017.
CHADD. MATTISON, age 41, of Dansville was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree (E Felony), Driving While Ability Impaired (Misdemeanor), Operating a Motor Vehicle without an Ignition Interlock Device (Misdemeanor), and Inadequate Exhaust. He was arraigned without an attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to November 21, 2017.
RYAN C. MCCOLLUMN, age 36, of Livonia admitted a violation of probation and the matter was adjourned to November 21, 2017 for sentencing.
ADAM R. PETERSON, age 36, of Livonia, charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree (E Felony), Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Misdemeanor), and Harassment in the Second Degree, appeared with his attorney and the matter was adjourned  to January 9, 2018.
MELWIN 0. ROSARIO, age 28, of Nunda pled guilty to Attempted Assault in the First Degree (C Felony) and the matter was adjourned to January 23, 2018 for sentencing.
EVERETT E. ROSS, age 38, of Avon, charged with Burglary in the Third Degree (D Felony) and Petit Larceny, appeared with his attorney and the matter was adjourned to January 2, 2018.
CHRISTINA D. SCHULTZ, age 40, of Geneseo was charged with Burglary in the Third Degree (D Felony) and Petit Larceny (Misdemeanor). She was arraigned with her attorney, pied not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to December 5, 2017.
A YOUTHFUL OFFENDER was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance In or Near School Grounds ( B Felony), Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (B Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (B Felony), and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Misdemeanor). He was arraigned with his attorney, pied not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to January 9, 2018.
ROSE M. UPRIGHT, age 62, of Ossian was sentenced on a conviction of Welfare Fraud in the Fifth Degree (Misdemeanor)  to 3 years probation.  She was also ordered to pay a $50 DNA fee and restitution.
