Cuba: Mike Randall portrays Charles Dickens, in his one man show, Charles Dickens: A Christmas Carol


Local performer Mike Randall will perform his acclaimed one-man portrayal of Charles Dickens in his performance of “Charles Dickens Presents: A Christmas Carol.” Already well-known as a weatherman for Channel 7 and for his puppetry and ventriloquism, Randall is also winning accolades for his one man shows. Randall spent a year researching his role to ensure that his recreation of Dickens would be spot-on. From his clothes and hair to the performance itself, Randall has wowed audiences and garnered positive reviews from critics.

The Palmer Opera House in Cuba is a vintage theater located in New York. This historic theater is steeped with rich character and details of another era. Palmer Opera House was built in 1867, and after a long and rich history fell into disrepair and restoration began in 2006 by the Cuba Friends of Architecture, the non profit organization charged with maintaining the historic venue.  
Proceeds from this show will benefit the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the historic venue.
