Larry R. Wilson, 65, of 9703 State Route 19, Caneadea,
passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, September 11, 2017. Born on October
11, 1951, in Hume, he was a son of Richard J. and Jean E. Thomas Wilson. Larry
was a graduate of Fillmore Central School Class of 1969 and later received his
Bachelors Degree in Education from Houghton College and his Masters Degree from
St. Bonaventure University. He was a member of St. Partick’s Roman Catholic
Church, Fillmore. Larry was a history teacher at Angelica, Friendship, and last
at Whitesville Central School where he retired. He was an avid collector of
antiques and an avid bird-watcher. He is
survived by two brothers, Stephen Wilson of Jackson, MO and Jay (Roseanna)
Wilson of Belfast; Several Nieces and Nephews; and his close friends Eli
Miller, William R. Stalker, and Scott Warren. He was predeceased by his
parents, a nephew Michael Wilson, and a sister in law Marci Wilson. There will
be no visitation. Graveside services
will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant
Cemetery, Houghton. The Rev. Dennis J.J.
Mancuso will officiate. Memorial may be made to St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic
