Janet L. Cary, 80, of Harrison Valley, PA, died Thursday,
September 14, 2017 in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, PA. Born October 4, 1936, in Corning, NY, she was
the daughter of Ralph A. and Reva I. Moon Manning. In 2006, she married Gerald
S. Cary, who survives. She loved her
family and enjoyed dancing, crocheting and traveling. A strong Christian woman, she raised her
family in faith. Surviving besides her
husband, Gerald, are: four daughters,
Lynda Carr Bieser of Ulysses, PA, Vickie (Frank) Chase of Whitesville, NY, Reva
(Scott Landers) of Oklahoma, and Myra (Alva) Bundy of Butler, PA; several grandchildren and
step-grandchildren; numerous
great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald
(Beverly) Manning of Genesee, PA; three
step-children, Allen J. (Darcie) Cary of Bloomington, IL, Martin J. Cary of
Harrison Valley, and Diane L. (Bob) Willard of Standards, NY; a step-daughter-in-law, Robin Cary of Mills,
PA; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Regenia B.
Monroe; and a step-son, Kevin L. Cary.
Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service,
Ulysses, PA on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 12:00-2:00 PM, with Funeral
Services following at 2:00 PM. The Rev.
Duane Burdick and grandson Keith Chase will co-officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Potter
Brook, PA. Memorials may be made to
