Obituary: Caroline L. Neal, 76, Myrtle, PA

Caroline L. Neal “beloved wife, mother, and grandmother”
MYRTLE, Pa.---Caroline L. Neal, 76, of Myrtle, passed away in her home on Monday, September 18, 2017, after a lengthy illness.
Born on November 29, 1940 in Bradford, she was a daughter of Claude and Ilene Smith McNeil.  On June 7, 1958 in Portville, N.Y., she married Lester C. Neal, who survives.
Caroline attended Eldred schools.  She was the bookkeeper for her and her husband’s business, Myrtle Leasing, until her retirement.
She was a member of Central Hinsdale Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.
Surviving besides her husband of 59 years are four sons, Lester C. “Rusty” Neal, Jr. and Jeffrey S. (Debbie) Neal, both of Portville, Harold L. (Gaylynn) Neal of Pittsburgh, and Joseph M. (Brenda) Neal of Shinglehouse; a daughter, Gloria J. (Jeff) Henderson of Shinglehouse; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy McNeil of Florida; a sister, Betty Watson of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Caroline was predeceased by a sister, Donna Madison; and a daughter-in-law, Dawn M. Neal.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 South Union Street, Shinglehouse, where a celebration of Caroline’s life will follow at 7pm with Mr. Lee Weinert of the Central Hinsdale Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses, officiating.  Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of donor’ choice.
