Steuben deputies: 76-year-old woman used car to bump boy to make room for parking

Police say a Bath woman will appear in court next month after she allegedly used her car to nudge a teenager. Deputies said 76-year-old Marjorie Carson was charged with reckless driving and endangering the welfare of a child. According to a press release, Carson wanted to park near Champlin Beach in Urbana, but a 16-year-old boy was standing in the way. She’ll allegedly warned him and when he didn’t move, she bumped him several times with her car until he stepped away. The charges were filed based on the recommendation of the District Attorney. Carson will appear in court August 22.
