Obituary: Jacqueline Gavin, 59, Bradford, PA

BRADFORD, PA –Jacqueline Gavin, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday (July 23, 2017) at home.
Jacqueline was born on Oct. 6, 1957 in Rochester to Eldon and Helen (Reynolds) Mosher. She worked in outside sales her entire career for such varied employers as The Connection and The Talking Phone Book, both in Olean and Disney Corporation in Florida to name a few. She also worked for the Town of Allegany as their Recreation Director for a number of years.
In addition to her father, Eldon Mosher of Canaseraga, she is survived by her loving companion, Jim Silvis of Bradford, Pa.; one son-in law, Jeremiah (April) Willard of Olean; one granddaughter, Kennedy (Joe) Willard of Anaheim, Calif.; one grandson, Noah Willard of Olean; two sisters, Betty Anne (Doug) Lown of Canaseraga and Kathleen Reynolds of Andover; a special friend, Mike Gavin of Andover; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her mother, Helen Mosher, she was predeceased by her daughter, Tiffany Marie Willard.
One of Jackie’s favorite pastimes was to crochet. Everyone in the family was a proud recipient of one her handmade baby blankets, afghans, hats or scarves. Many of her gift ideas undoubtedly came from a personal enjoyment of walking the craft show circuit. She also loved to dote on her two grandchildren, Kennedy and Noah. They meant the world to her and she was more than happy to lavish her love on them.
Jackie enjoyed people and was pleased to go out of her way to help anyone in need. She truly cared more for others and their needs than she cared for her own. She also liked to work. It was nothing for her to have three of four jobs at a time. With most of her jobs in outside sales, she met a lot of people, which fit perfectly with her need to be involved with the lives of others. Jackie did however have a not so secret vice. She loved her Diet Pepsi and many humorous stories are told of her need to have her Pepsi craving met.
