Tax rate could drop in Wellsville - Daily Reporter

Public hearing set for April 10 in village boardroom

WELLSVILLE — The village tentatively plans to take a little less out of the average taxpayer's wallet under next year's budget.
Trustees OKd a tentative budget Monday with a general fund of $3,553,302, which includes a tax levy of $2,303,496. A public hearing will take place at 6:30 p.m. April 10 in the village boardroom.
Mayor Randy Shayler said the tax levy will tentatively go down between 2 and 3 percent from this year's amount. Read more from the Daily Reporter.
